WELCOME to my second venture into the world of thoroughbred horse racing method writing, THE 3-D SYSTEM.
No special glasses are required.
Since the 2001 release of my THE SOUND SYSTEM to the public in 2001, it emerged as one of the top five handicapping methods of 2002, as rated by the industry bible, The Phillips Racing Newsletter.
As a result of that success, I turned my attention to writing THE 3-D SYSTEM, named for it's ability to instantly find mostly mid-range price plays that jump off the daily racing form page right at you! I've used this dirt easy spot-play discovery since 1986 and it's now being shared for the first time. It's a gem and nicely compliments TSS.
Here is some of what you will glean from the 3-D effect:
Our initial 2003 spot test covered 58 races that contained 3-D selections from Del Mar near San Diego in Southern California, Saratoga and Belmont in New York, Monmouth in New Jersey, Mountaineer in West Virginia and Arlington in Illinois. Our plays covered cheap platers on up to the million dollar stars of racing with equal aplomb.
During this period we struck with in-the-money wagering sets of five on two occasions and one time caught a string of seven. We had 19 winning days, 20 losing days and one break even. But the most important stat of all is the whopping 161 percent Return On Investment (ROI) achieved. This is practically unheard of, especially with so uncomplicated an approach as 3-D.
Even more to the point, the money positions and average win price were remarkable. The show price average, for instance was $4.17 and the average win return is still four figures after 17 years of personal play. Can you name another method that can stay this consistent over such a long length of time?
Here are some more electrifying numbers -- since 30 picks finished either first or second, we claimed the same amount of exacta hits with the "wheel" maneuver. They collectively returned $3,218.50 for a $107.28 average. Not to hard to handle -- order now and you will be hammering numbers like these, too. And that holds for betting the exotics -- exactas, trifectas, superfectas, daily doubles and, our favorites, Pick 3's and Pick 4's.
